How a Piece Is Made
Every Cœura piece is commissioned — made for you after you order.
Rather than making quantities in advance, we begin your piece when you commission it. That is what lets us personalize each one thoughtfully, make only what is genuinely wanted, and give the work the time it deserves.
Your piece is created with skilled artisan partners in one atelier in Bali, a relationship now twenty-five years old. It moves through many hands — casting, soldering, engraving, finishing, polishing and final inspection.
Allow about four weeks, occasionally five. Two-tone pieces take longest, because each metal is masked and finished separately; single-metal designs, and pieces without personalization, move faster. We’ll confirm the timing with your order, and write to you when it enters the workshop and again when it leaves.
