24 × 10mm, four soft corners, nothing on the front until you put it there. The Band is the quietest thing we make and the hardest to get right — there's no ornament to hide behind, only proportion, a creamy edge, and the weight of it landing against you when you sit down.

The narrowness is the point. Words run the length of it, the way a line runs down a page, and ten millimeters won't hold a sentence you haven't thought about. People tend to arrive with a paragraph and leave with four words that are true. Initials are the one exception — those run across.

The back carries Œ · 925 at the base. Anything you engrave sits above it.

Sterling silver or 18K gold vermeil. Ships complete on The Fine in matching metal, adjustable at 16, 17, and 18 inches. The Fine in vermeil isn't sold on its own — it comes only this way, as part of the necklace.
