Find Your Length
Where a piece falls changes how it feels.
Use this guide as a starting point when choosing your carrier. Every body is different, so the same length may sit slightly differently depending on your neck, proportions, clothing and the piece you choose to carry.
16–18″ · Close
Sits at or just below the collarbone. This is our most versatile length — close enough to feel personal, with enough room for a pendant to fall naturally. Choose 16″ when you want it higher, 17″ for somewhere in between, 18″ for a little more ease.
Available in Fine and Classic.
20–22″ · Lower
Falls toward the upper chest. A beautiful choice for a larger pendant, an open neckline, or a piece you want to layer beneath a shorter chain. Choose 20″, 21″ or 22″ depending on where you want the piece to settle.

26–30″ · Long
A more generous, expressive length. Designed to fall lower on the chest and particularly suited to the scale and openness of our Long Link chain.

30″ Ritual Cord · Ritual
A long cord length that changes the feeling of a piece entirely — less traditional necklace, more personal object carried on the body.
Available in Ritual Cord.
46″ Ritual Cord · Very Long
Our longest carrier. It falls distinctly low on the body, giving a pendant a more talismanic, almost amulet-like presence. Because bodies and pendants vary, use the on-body image as a guide rather than an exact placement.

Choosing a Carrier

Take a piece of string and cut it to the length you’re considering. Place it around your neck and look at where it falls. If you are choosing a pendant, remember that the pendant itself will extend below the carrier.
